Bambu PS1 Print Test 1
The successful debut print from the Bambu Lab PS1 printer marks a significant milestone for atelierJJX. This print, showcasing the newly designed logo, illustrates not only the printer's capabilities but also the commitment to quality and detail inherent in our design philosophy. The intricate features of the logo highlight the potential for precision in future projects. As we look ahead, the challenge of executing complex curvilinear sculptural work presents an exciting opportunity to push the boundaries of our creative practices. What lies ahead is a promising exploration of new design possibilities.

“Love Rejection”
“Love rejections! Collect them like treasure! Set rejection goals. I shoot for a hundred rejections each week, because if you work that hard to get so many noes, my little Noah’le, in them you will find a few yeses, too.” - Noah Kagan
“Beliefs are placebos” - Derek Sivers
Imagine the seeds you will sprout if you believe deeply enough.
Imagine they will fulfill their meaning.
Imagine there is no alternative.
Believe while in the dark.
Believe the connections fit together.
Believe in your resilience.
“Do the thing you fear, and the death of fear is certain.” - Noah Kagen
A new paradigm is emerging as AI tools become widely available. Instead of being overwhelmed by their influence, creatively embracing these tools can drive effective innovation. Engaging in multimodal creation and developing a unique workflow can offer significant advantages over a linear approach to using AI.
For instance, applying specialized knowledge from education or hobbies can significantly enhance your reach and service to customers or users.
Integrating analog skills with varied subjects can yield content that feels authentic and resonant.
Curating AI-generated work to reflect a brand's core values can communicate a clear and focused vision to your audience, rather than a diluted one.
One of my favorite activities when I started working with Midjourney in 2023 was to create fantastical spaces influenced by starchitect Zaha Hadid and fashion icon Alexander McQueen. I would then merge these inspirations with my sculptural work, producing results that were otherworldly yet deeply authentic to my style of work.
Fearlessly experimenting with AI allows you to discover your voice and establish a productive collaboration for future endeavors. And should it ever become overwhelming, you can always take a step back and reconnect with your initial motivations for creating anything.
“Nature loves Courage”
I’ve been battling against what Steven Pressfield calls “the resistance”. All the distractions that come exactly when I should be the most focused. I have a vision of what I need to do - what I need to create - a piece that I have visualized since my son was born. Sitting down to work on it, I freeze a bit because it feels too important. As with every piece, the most important step is to take the first one. The first small or slowest one. Build moment through every next action and alleviate the pressure by having faith that finally taking on this piece is exactly what I’m meant to be doing.
The following quote also comes to mind and helps invigorate this mental framework:
“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.” Terence McKenna
